I realize most do not care anyway.. but for the other 12 hunters in this world who shoot the world's toughest head (the NAP Nitron).. it's a sad year..

NAP will no longer be making them.

    What will I do?

I'm going to stock my shelves with them.. that's what! I hope to still be shooting them in 2012 (or longer)....

Tough to see such a great head go away just because the world yearns for HUGE(R) holes.:(

Great little head that flies well. I have shot the Crossfire since it came out but it hasn't lit the shelves on fire.

Let me know what you find to replace it when the time comes, I might be in the same boat:(

I'm planning on dropping a wad of cash on stocking up, my dealer has atleast ten packs. Ouch thats gonna hurt but the nitrons are well worth the money!

NAP has the sharpest blades in the industry, they have never done me wrong.

    It's true.

Not sure why... although NAP has so many heads.. they never really pushed the Nitron ever. Understandable. Even understandable to why they would rid of it... it only creates competition from themselves.

And OHbowhunter... I love the Slick-Trick.. and believe its a great and tough head. But its #2 to the Nitron. While I think its tip is equal too or better than the little NAP.. its blades don't match the Nitrons. They stick out further and are built from a lesser material...

Slick-Trick remains my #2 choice... although I fear that eventually... when all my Nitrons are old and grey... the year will be 2014 and I'll be shooting the Slick-Trick.. my new #1.

Unless someone develops a newer and better design. (fingers crossed).:D
