I just want to take a minute to share the awesome experience I recently had with Chris from NAP. I took two practice shots with my Gobbler Getter's and noticed what I thought was only one blade opening based on the cut on my target face. I emailed them and asked if I could adjust them maybe and included a picture. Within 10 minutes my phone was ringing. Chris explained they aren't designed to be shot repeatedly into targets like mine because it really beats them up but also he suspects I have a worn out clip and that one blade actually opened in flight since it showed as open right on the target face. He also sent a follow up email explaining everything we had just talked about. He also immediately put a pack of replacement clips AND replacement blades in the mail (free of charge) to me because he wants me to have them perfect for Saturday's PA opener. Truly an awesome CS service experience and it made a loyal NAP user out of me, at least for turkey's. Not sure I can give up my QAD Exodus heads for deer :D.
Sweet! I love the CS too. Ordered some replacement blades for my Nap Killzone Maxx's and they forgot some of the replacement parts. Called them up and they shipped me a new pack free of charge.
I have dealt with in several occasions and he has done a great job every time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good customer service is what separates most companies now a days. I will definitely pay more if I can get that.
Oh and exodus broad heads are great but the thunderhead has been around for ages and is a pretty good substitute. I use the Thunderhead edge at the moment.
A BH opening in flight and not made to shoot at a target.... I just can't get past that kinda stuff. Glad they took care of you though!
I have been hunting over 30 years. I've shot them. The Exodus is awesome and I have zero plans to change.
In his defense he said "repeatedly" into foam can beat them up. He also said it opened in flight because I wore the clip out shooting it. I only shot it twice this year, but last year I shot this same head a lot practicing. If you want to shoot them a lot practicing he suggested gluing one closed to use as a practice head. I only have three of them or I would.
