Has anyone got any experience with these? I have mainly shot whisker biscuits and have found other than messing up the fetching that I like what they offer. That being said I was at Academy last night and they had a NAP carbon Apache fall away rest on clearance for $35!!!:jaw: I could not leave without buying this. I looked at putting one of these on my new bow this year but the guy at the pro shop told me that they did not carry them there was too many problems with them. Any truth to that? Did I just throw away $35?

I don't have one, but I've heard nothing but good things about them. They are supposed to be easy to set up and extra quiet. Give us a review once you get it up and running. Sounds like you found a great deal.

I had the regular Apache but I wasn't a big fan of it. It allowed way too much play in the rest and the arrow would bang around and hit the riser or the inside of the rest and make noise. I just didn't feel it was well contained.

It is only 10 days until the opener is that enough time to make the change? I really like this rest and want to hunt with it but scared to make the change this close to season.

I'd assume that's enough time. I'd imagine you could get your rest installed and tuned in a day or two.

if you interested in rest check out the video I did. https://youtu.be/qqpTc_qx1vU I tried to get a apache carbon to include in the review but they chose not to take part. first they said they would than backed out after stringing me along for a month.

Todd i watched your video last night lots of good info in there. I think that I have decided to stay with the Whisker Biscuit, even though I love the thought of a fall away rest it does not matter what one I look at I can find where there are examples of failures and there is nothing that you can say bad about the biscuit but that it contacts the veins and I think I can live with that for the security of knowing that it will ALWAYS work!
