Just purchased a three pack of the two blade blood runners at BPS this weekend. (on sale 29.99)

do these broad heads to be aligned with the fletchings in any specific way? I am shooting 400 series Beman arrows.

I have tried just screwing them on the way they are, which is different for each arrow. They kind of screw in off center from being horizontal and are no where near vertically aligned with the cock vane, which I'm wondering if they should be?

I have practiced with them and my hitting points are noticeably different. I'd say probably 4-5 inches high and to the right than where i group my field points. The broadh eads aren't really group either.

    Any suggestions?

No you don't need to align them with the fletchings.

The broadheads not grouping with field points most likely is a tuning issue. Have you paper tuned or walk back tuned your bow? Most likely your arrows are leaving the bow wobbling and the broadheads are trying to steer it.

I have not done either and am new to the sport.

My bow has always shot my current arrows with field points perfectly. I purchased the bow about a month ago. It is a PSE x-force Vendetta. 60 lbs, 28 inch draw. 400 series Beman arrows (8.4 GPI). 100 grn NAP blood runners.

Welcome. JMbuckhunter is right. Do you know what he means by tuning your bow? If not let us know and we'll help you.

Not really, i thought my bow was tuned by the bow shop pro who sold it to me? I have heard of arrows needing to be tuned but know little about it. Everything about my setup seemed perfect and i was very happy with my shooting until i screwed on these broadheads to give them a try.

I would start by reading the Easton Tuning Guide.
