Just pick up a QAD and love if you have to let down the arrow does not fall.

Apache... $44.99 + shipping from eagle archery. promo code 328 good for the next couple day for an extra 10% off. Smooth, super quiet, and super easy to adjust.

I was going to use the apache on my hoyt, but since it is a 2004 model, it wouldn't fit. So I went with QAD and I'm glad because it is a badass rest!!!

Yeah they made bows then. LOL

Mud' my next hunting bow will have a QAD ultra rest unless there is something obviously better by then. Right now IMO, there isn't.

Ok guys thanks. Probably gonna get the Apache since i have seen two QAD rests fail in two weeks breaking the arrow both times.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of rests that stay standing... I've ben around too many bad things happening, like them not coming down. I had a Ripcord and got away from it as well. This will be my second season with the apache and I love it.

Seen two QAD's fail to drop. Not good. Between the two, it'd be the Apache for me.

I just put the Apache on my bow. It seems pretty heavy to me. I'm thinking of cutting the sides off as I dont really need the full capture. Other than that, it works flawlessly!

You really think you could tell the difference if you did? What rest did you have prior?

Shouldn't really be an issue. There is no exposed metal on the Apache rest for any sort of "noise" should your arrow bounce around while walking/stalking. The inside of the housing/guard is completely covered with a sound-damping material ... and the launcher itself is covered with felt.

Put felt or some form of sound-dampening pad/cover on your riser shelf, and it's dead silent.

I personally know of many folks that have done spot & stalk with the Apache without issue.

How would a QAD rest break an arrow??

I have two bows set up with the QAD and they have worked flawlessly.

I may get an Apache for my next bow, but mostly because it's cheaper. :)

Well i just got the QAD put on my bow. Decided on it after seeing how much an arrow can move in the Apache compared to the QAD. I shot a Rytera with the Apache on it then shot a dream season evo and with the QAD and that settled it for me right then.
