I was simple amazed at how great this broadhead flys, when I had been praticing for my turkey season this week. Now that I'm done, and shot my bird, I'm even more impressed! The Bloodrunner dropped him right in his tracks. Of course it's all about shot placement, but the size of the hole was huge. Simply put.... I'm impressed!
i used them last year and on my whitetail i had a less than perfect shoot yet he stil only went 40 yards. The shoot was back and low but he bled out really fast. congratulations on your bird. i cant wait to see how they do with birds
I used them last year for deer season. I used the 2 blade and was amazed with the results. I wish I could figure out how to put the pictures online, becuase to say the least they did heck of a job. Deer went 40 yards and dropped. There was just a little snow on the ground and it was crazy the amount of blood there was.
I think I will be trying these out this year as well. The video of the eland hunt with these just blows my mind. Gotta give em a try.
How many of you guys using them are getting pass throughs on Deer and if you are whats your poundage and what was the distance , i got a pack of them and the practice heads , i know the practice heads make a whistle but thats not a real concern with me , I'm shooting 60 pounds with a 2010 Destroyer and a 354gr arrow , i've seen some videos of these heads coming out of some bad ass bows with little pennatration in deer , its just making me wonder since i have not first hand killed anything with these heads , just shot the practice heads and they do fly awsome
i shoot a pse brute set at 63 pounds with a 362 grain arrow and at 30 yards got a complete pass through with huge holes on entry/exit
Like I said, I was impressed with the 2 blade Bloodrunner on my turkey last week, and I too have been interested in the Nitron since I've heard alot of good things like good flight, strength and penetration. It's probably a good choice if you want the reliability of a fixed blade. Decisions... Decisions.... I don't think a guy can go wrong either way!
This is my buck from last year shot with the 2 blade Blood Runner you can judge the hole for your self..
After seeing the hole the 2-blades left in the buck I ordered some yesterday. Hopefully i'll get the chance to try them out on a buck this fall.
Just a note, I was congratulating Stikbow26 on his buck, so that's not me. For the record though, I'm currently shooting 63 lbs with a 29 inch draw. I shot 2 more turkeys last Wednesday with the 2 blade Bloodrunners. The first flipped over, limped off 20 yards and expired, and the second dropped in his tracks. Once again the holes were huge! Keep an eye out for next month's webisode where you may see all 3 of my turkey hunts this Spring using the 2 blade Bloodrunners.
