I have nothing bad to say about Bloodrunners. Every deer I shot with one has died quickly (3 blade).

Another rage hater here...always opening up at the wrong time...I was still walking from my morning stand to another stand one day....got lucky and walked upon a bedded 8 point that I didnt even see till I was 45 yards away....got behind a bush waited for what felt like an eternity for him to get up.....he gets up walks right by me at 33 yards broadside and has no clue im there....perfect wind perfect situation...came to full draw and noticed that the same f in blade that I just put back in 5 min ago was dangling again....couldnt shoot of course and he spooked .....wouldve been my first bow buck with a great story behind it....only if my broadhead didnt need to be babied through the woods in order to function properly

I still have all the montec practice tips. I was thinking about trying them again now that I have more experience under my belt. I'm not saying they're a bad broadhead. I have friends that shoot them very successfully, just not my personal favorite.

Rage 3 Blade. Worst ever. I don't have a problem with the two blade.

I have a bunch of the rage three blade. I have not used them yet. What's the problem with them?

To the people having issues with rage bh. Are you using the orange clips to help hold the blades in or just relying on the rubberband. When I use the orange clips, I don't see how the blades to accidentally deploy.

I found the 3 blade to be clumsy and the rubber o-ring never seemed to hold all 3 blades closed. PITA in my opinion. I switched to the Killzone this year. Hoping for better usability.

These orange clips/shock collars whatever you want to call them slip over the broadhead and O ring before screwing into the insert.

I don't know for sure but don't those look like glancing blows? Certainly the one with the deer's head in the picture does. I've not used Bloodrunners but have seen lots of hogs shot withe them (broadside) and they get pass throughs at 20 to 25 yards. Just wondering about those two shots.

Do they work on older style rage? I am currently using 3 blade rage but after hearing a bunch of you guys, I should consider switching.

That's exactly what I was thinking- looks like someone slashed him with a sword. With the way the NAP BRs are made, completely possible. You take a sharp angled shot with those and you're begging for problems unless you compensate for that.

according to their website, yes they are reverse-engineered to work on older models.
