I was plannin on goin with those this year, i heard the strikers will blow apart if you hit bone an im not a mechanical guy so the t-3's are out.

Did they just not fly close to field point consistency of what?

I've been shooting Montecs for 3 years now and mine shoot great!! I would guess there is a tuning problem to blame there^^^

older style rage. Far as swackers go, never had one open in flight, killed every deer within 60 yards of shot. Figure might be a bad one like anything else, but from what ive seen first hand, your deer don't die from a swacker, its you, not the head.

Yep 3 seasons and 12 dead deer. IMO they are the most durable and reliable BH I have ever used

I could never get the Muzzy 3 blades to fly correctly from my Jennings Buckmaster. I took it to the archery shop, had the fletchings lined up with the blades, and it was still shooting 6 inches high. Whereas, the Grim Reapers I was shooting were just like field points.

Hard to say. I took the montec off and put an mx-3 on it and they were grouping awesome. I was shooting a field point, mechanical, and fixed all in the same group. I can't really blame it on the tune.
This is also all at 60 yards.

Going old school here, but Razorback 5. I never did like the things, had a hard time getting them to tune and mine whistled in flight.

Rage ... got tired of them being partially opened in my quiver when walking in to my stand on even on the string. Also had 1 open in flight when I hit a turkey , didn't stick in the bird and the bird ran off with a few missing feathers

Aligning the broadheads and fletching has nothing to do with anything. Your rest was just a little high or nock point just a little low.

    Rage.

Rage is the only broadhead that I've ever taken to the field and been disappointed in. It was my 2nd archery season and I had a doe come in, I grabbed my bow, got to full draw, and noticed that I had a blade hanging loose and open. I let down and was unable to get another shot opportunity. I can honestly say its the only broadhead to ever cost me a deer. I went home and took all the Rage's off and put NAP Nitrons on. Sold the Rage's on AT after that.

The worst broadhead I ever shot was about 15 years ago, called Pucketts Bloodtrailers. Total garbage. They crushed on impact unless they somehow went between the ribs. If the hit even a rib, they crushed. They came really dull too.
