Fisher? I got a pic of some similar animal a few months ago and most everybody said fisher. Looks too big for a mink.
I'll go with weasel.
Weasel. Or more commonly referred to as the American Martin
Thanks for all the good guesses, I have never seen a fisher, martin, or mink in the woods so I am asking the Pro's
its not a dog, figured marten, fisher, or mink
Small young fisher I believe. Seems a bit dark for a marten.
Fisher. Lots of them up our way.
I'm going to say mink. While fishers are becoming a little more commonplace here in PA, that looks more sleek (especially the head) than a fisher.
Fishers are in the weasel family so calling it a fisher or weasel are both technically correct. Because of how dark it is, specifically, I would say it's a young fisher. Young fishers aren't as furry as adults or it could be wet.
Looks more like a mink than a fisher.
My vote is for fisher.
Patty. Let's name him Patty cause it's St. Pattys Day.
Separate names with a comma.
