When I watched that episode, I pretended I was you and slapped myself. Hope he's alive and gives you another opportunity this season. I'll be stoked to see what kind of freak he's evolved into!

Amen brother. I'm feeling good about the plan, despite the odds... It's a heck of a challenge hunting these beasts on overcrowded, big-woods, public land, but I admit I love every second of it!

Last year was the first time in 6 years that I did not shoot a buck, that won't happen again this season.

Because I concentrated my scouting efforts in areas I've seen big bucks and big buck sign. Knowing they are there will keep me motivated to keep hunting hard. I also scouted a ton this past off season...miles and miles and miles of boot leather.

    Plus....I love this stuff!-

That all being said, as usual I'll probably only see 1 buck over 100 inches.

I really don't deserve it this year. I've been so busy with work and kids and selling house and getting ready to move I haven't had time to do squat. If I'm lucky I'll get a sorry excuse for some fall plots going. So come to think of it, I probably will kill a Ginormous buck. That's kinda how it works sometimes :tu:

I will probly not kill my biggest buck this year, because it would have to score over 198"

Forgot all about this thread, didn't get my big 10, had to settle for big 12 instead

Still think I can top this one as well. Will have to see how the season unfolds

I will kill my biggest buck to date this year because I have done more scouting this year then ever before, I have more hunting options then ever before both public and private. And I am determined to get it done by staying mobile and putting hours in the tree. This is the biggest buck harvested on one of the pieces of private ground I'm allowed to hunt owned by my best friend and I'm just in love with frame. [IMG]

I've put down my first good size food plot with all the goodies in it mowed trails down and even built my first blind!! I've started scouting earlier then ever and I have a buck from last season back to the same spot this season so I'm sure I'll shoot the biggest buck of my life because it will be the first buck of my life!!!!!

I will shoot the biggest buck of my life this year because it is my first year using trail cameras. I will use these to help me know about deer movement and where I need to be. I also have set up 3 new spots that are going to be absolutely great for me this year.

IMG_0280.JPG I'll shoot my biggest buck this year because I will have the time to put more hours on stand with more options of properties to hunt. Better chance of getting a quality opportunity with any wind or weather conditions.

And the buck in this picture lived through last season and is 2 minutes away at my grandpas house.

Because if it is not the biggest buck of my life I will let it walk. Same as last year and the year before and.....well I guess every year since 2000.

I wish I had something to post, I feel bad joining a team this year because the best I can hope to contribute is 50 points for a doe. Nothing to see to post or talk about. not even a blurry pic taken on a cell phone transfer from a lap top, I suck.

I had forgotten about this thread. I guess luck was on my side. I was able to connect the the highest scoring buck to date last year. Luckily he showed up towards the end of September and started using my property as his fall range. I had an encounter with him the week prior to shooting him, then decoyed him in to a 12 yard shot. Just shy of 150" 8pt I nicknamed Tallboy.
