I will kill the biggest buck of my life this year because I'm just that lucky and have been putting in a bunch of time in food plots and etc.

If I kill the biggest buck of my life, it will be a shock. My biggest is a 160" buck from 2012. I don't have anything on camera that will top him, or even come close. I do have some mature bucks to hunt, so that's good enough for me. There is one buck in particular that could be a giant, I just haven't seen him yet this year. If I kill him (or any mature buck) with my black widow and spruce arrow, it would be a pretty great feeling.

It won't take much for me. I am really new to this, and have only dropped 1 small buck. I do have about 7 or 8 on pics that will easily top my 1. Plus I am on team25, same number as Jamaal Charles from my Chiefs! Things are looking good!

That is completely awesome Jake. I salute you for going at these animals with a black widow and spruce arrows. I hunted with a recurve for a few years and just killing two does was hard enough.

Because I believe I'll kill a giant every single time I hunt. My experience has taught me different, but I still feel that way every time I get out.

So I was able to kill the biggest buck of my life last year. This thread gave me motivation to get out and find a better place to hunt and it worked!

So I'm just bumping this thread to see how you guys plan to shoot your biggest buck to date.

That would be awesome! However where I'm hunting again this year, any deer is a trophy to me!

Good call, Holt... As for me, I'll kill my biggest buck this season because buckeye is nothing short of a slave-driver. He forced me to walk about a hundred miles over the last 4 months (mostly uphill both ways). He's both ruthless and relentless. And that's exactly what my slackin arse needed.
The fun continues throughout this "off season" with mineral sites, trail cam hanging/checking/relocating, habitat improvements & trim work, etc.... In short, with seriously increased efforts, comes seriously increased optimism.

Because both of the bucks I missed last year made it through the season...and both would have been my biggest last year.

I should have changed this to "pass the biggest deer of my life". Pretty spot on though.

Josh All the scouting will pay off. One of the biggest things for me and killing a good buck, is always stay positive and trust your stand location. This is your year!
