We are heading up to the cabin in about 10 min but this was our conversation earlier. Wife: " I'm getting in the shower." Me: " ok, make sure to use the scent killing soap." Wife: "ok, but I'm not putting that crap in my hair." Me: "well just don't use your usual shampoo." Wife: " why? I didn't do any of this last year and got a buck. Did you get one?" Me: "never mind then just do what you want." Lesson- shoot a bigger buck then your wife. Lol just kidding I'm just glad she will come with and sit in the stand with me.
Ouch... She got you there. Can you post the brand and scent of the shampoo she used when she shot her buck?
lol sorry I don't pay that close of attention to her hair products. She has too many. Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2
Hard to argue with taht! LOL For the record: I am glad that my wife doesnt hunt. Hunting is my time away.
Ha...that is great! Sounds very similar to a conversation I had with my husband. What is really entertaining is the conversations/frustrations when all 3 of our girls are up at the cabin during hunting season when everything in the cabin is suppose to be scent free. He about had a coronary when we came back from hunting and the girls (ages 7-19) were doing eachothers hair, nails, makeup and eating microwave popcorn that was left in the microwave a bit too long. Yikes! This weekend is going to be one of those weekends...we will see how it goes
that is usually the case for me too but she only comes with one time a year and it is nice to spend the time together. Last year when she got her first one I was so proud of her. She never hunted growing up and was afraid of guns when I met her but she over came all of those fears. I do hear you on the time away tho. Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2
My husband left for the cabin on 10/30 and will come back 12/1. So, he gets plenty of "his" time to hunt. I go up on the weekends and hunt in my own stands. I also refuse to go up during opener gun weekend, even though he has asked me to be there. I think that should be his time with just his friends. Then I go up the evening of Thanksgiving when everyone else has pretty much went home. Best of both worlds, in my opinion. Another thing to think about...Us wives - also look forward to your hunting time away
