It was a tough weekend with basically no sightings in the tree. I jumped two on the way out Saturday morning and one on the way to my stand. It sounded big running through the woods. I hope it wasn't bedded that close to my stand. I did however have a cool encounter with a bobcat at about 65 yards today. When i first saw it I honestly thought it was a mountain lion, then noticed no long tail. I decided to grab the camera since I didn't know the law on shooting them, and it was pretty dang far to shoot. Here are some pics of the weekend! You can pop the 'cat after Nov. 15, when our state's furbearer season opens (and when I can start trapping)... Nice pics!
That face paint is straight nasty. That explains why I saw that make up remover in your bathroom...Hopefully. Lol.
You guys are too funny! I think it rocks! except it makes me break out, but its worth it when you look that cool..lol
Cool pics. A bobcat would earn a full body mount from me. I hope I see another this year, in range, only in season.
haha i wear face paint all the time early season, i dont like wearing things on my head, other then a hat whe its really warm out.
Thats a really cool pic of the cat. Im not that into face paint, more of a face mask guy myself, looks like it would take a while to paint that on. Anyways, great cat pic!
Awesome pic of the cat! I have only seen 1 in 15 years of hunting. I am loving the facepaint too by the way!!
