Well since everone else is doing it, i might just as well too.:busted:

These need to be set up for my Bear Kodiak Magnum (50# @28in, but I actually have a 29in draw, not sure what that translates to:confused: )

I know im going carbon fo sho, so which ones are tops in your guys' books? Im not sure if I like the fake wood finish, but I dont like black either. The black looks too non-traditional, but the wood finish seems like a poser.:deer: I guess looks really arent that important though, I just want them to shoot good.

Let the discussion begin on shafts, then i'll move on to other components.

    Thanks in advance!:d

Carbon Express heritage shafts are tough to go wrong with.

Sorry Al, I'm worthless on helping anyone out on carbons being I don't know much about them. Your draw weight I'd say your pulling In that 53 to 55 pound being your an Inch longer then the specs say for a 28" draw. I take It you've never checked your draw draw weight. A guy should, I've seen a good number of Traditional bows higher and lower then what the specs say they are at 28".

First of all I agree with Steve get the poundage right I will say about 53.5 to 54lb.

As for shafts either the CE Heritage or Gold Tip Traditionals.

Cant really say what spine or lenght at the moment without know the exact poundage and whether or not you are going with brass inserts or heavy heads;)

You guys are correct, I am guilty of never actually checking my draw weight. I know I want a heavy front end on her. Id like to have around 200 grains up front, just not sure yet what combination I will use to get there. :deer:

    Recommendations?

I am using Gold Tip Trads 3555 full lenght with a 100gr brass insert, 125gr head and 3 4" shield cut feathers my FOC is around 24% total arrow weight is about 550gr but I might add some line trimmer to them to boost the weight.

My bows are between 51 and 55lb @27" and the arrows fly like lazers.:d

Ok another question, bare with me.

How can arrows, such as goldtips, have a spine rating range of 20lbs, while the cx heritage has three different spine ratings through 20 lbs? If one went with the GT's isnt there too much inconsistancy? Or am I just totally missing something here?
