First guy is Sue. Saw him chasing a doe at ab 80yds then set cams out. Started narrowing down on him and then decided to shoot this other buck. So I’m now tagged out. You can hear the stories and what not on my social sites. I do a lot of live podcasts on Facebook. Just go to http://huntzillapodcast.com and my social pages are in the footer. This is the one I tagged out on. I named him Brett Michaels because I was ate up from poison ivy from the tree I was in. Hey we do dumb things to win right lol here’s the video [IMG]

This buck I named Julius. I didn’t put a lot of effort on Julius. He was more sporadic and I don’t think I was too close to his core area lie I was sue. I had Sue on three different cams over about a 1/2 mile area. I was really closing in but couldn’t pass on Brett. I got greedy!

This one I called 2 chainzz (like the rapper)

This was an area I never got to hunt but it had a really cool 7 point on it.

Yep, some nice shooters there for sure! I also had some good luck in finding mature bucks to hunt this passed season. I like to use these cameras to try and figure out the core area of a mature buck. Had 3 good spots with good bucks, but the hardest thing was deciding which area to focus all my time!

Yeah I had 3 trail cameras that were getting this buck. I was pretty sure where he was bedding just based on my trail cam pictures. Ya know what direction he was coming and going in the evening vs morning. Hunted over there four times and didn’t see a thing. Then I tagged out on that 9pt that walked out on me. Saw 2 other big bucks that same morning after I shot that one. Really odd how deer move in big woods. Seems like it comes in spurts. 3 days of solid activity then nothing. Not related to the moon either. I was kinda disappointed that didn’t lead anywhere but maybe I’m just not educated on all that enough. I dunno

All great bucks. Especially for public land. Congratulations on the 9pt.
