We have a few areas like that, mainly flood waters off river. I was in this very boat about a month ago in flood waters with the mud motor, they are very nice for that but we coulv get by with troling motor and spare batteries! But is was fun getting the silvers to jump when we fired it up lol! Prob a mud motor in the future!
Okay, just be aware that there's a reason you don't see very many mud motors at bowfishing tournaments (or wherever a bunch of bowfishers gather). I've known a couple people who had them and pretty quickly got rid of them.
You guys really like shooting fish with arrows! I will have to get down there! Always wanted to try it!
He will have an outboard but was wanting a mud motor for waterfoul hunting in the floods! SO since you live like eon's away now think you and K will make the Ohio river tourney again sometime ?? miss ya already!
There's that tournament there at Evansville (or where ever it was that we met up with you) next weekend. (August 3rd) I should be in Utah then but Ken will be there again. There's lots and lots of common carp in Utah, but no (thankfully) bigheads.... so, I will get to missing them and will need to get a fix in not-so-distant future. I really doubt the Fantoon will ever be east of the Mississippi again, so I'll be looking for a boat to hitch a ride on! hint.. hint.. Which, reminds me... Mueller said he'd take me out this summer. :D
