My sons first buck

    I am a very proud Dad, I filmed my 10 year old son shoot his first deer on his first ever hunt during the MN early season youth hunt. He was very patient for a little guy and waited for me to give him the go ahead to shoot. He shot it with a 20 gauge slug gun. It is a great first buck also 130" 9 pointer. He ran 75 yards up a hill and we watched him go down for good. Here is a pic of him and I.

    awesome buck, congrats. i have been hunting for 14yrs. and havent killed a buck that big yet. thats awesome, he is hooked for life hopefully

    ohboy I am sure he is hooked for life, he looked at me after he shot it and said I cant stop shaking Dad. :D

    Man I dont know what I would have done at 10 years old to take a great buck like that, looks like the little guy has a great hunting future, congtats to you both, & great job getting your son in hunting & the great outdoors.
