Thank all of you men that sent well wishes to my son. They were greatly appreciated and well received. From the bottom of my and heart my family thank you. It was close we thought we were going to lose him. But through the power of prayer he is making a great recovery. The swelling is still subsiding to his face and head. And he's looking normal. He will have to have some dental work done and watch him for uneasiness due to the head trauma. l I'm forever grateful he will survive. After viewing the area of his attack I found the people that actually stopped the attack two young ladies intervene. Had it not been for their heroic intervention it could've been grievous. To their efforts they were attacked and beaten as well slightly. I've shown them my appreciation by paying their medical bills and rent for and othe bills for helping him. What do that say about men or wannabe men of today that stood idly by and watched? With that said after venturing around the area and finding out why they attacked him, excuse me "Gooned" him is because he didn't speak or recognize them. No arrest have been made and there have been a large police presence in the area until it will dwindle down until the next attack or incident . With all concerned parties we have come to the conclusion of after Thanksgiving he will reside with me forever more. He will start rehab and firm plans on enrolling him into martial arts classes of various styles that will teach him boxing as well as hunting with me. He has shown no aggressive tendencies, although he seems to have a foreboding look if he thinks you're looking at him. That does worry me a bit. He just don't know how angry I am and I will do my dead level best for him to only see some of it, because for the sake of family and society. No one wants to deal with an angry dad. No one. Thank you Muzzy Man and Rickmur, for your warm thoughts we must be vigilant. Oh no arrests has been made because of the the "no snitch" rule is in effect the investigation is continuing.
That is great to hear he made it through! I can't imagine going through that, stay strong and enjoy all the good times you guys have coming ahead

That's great news. Like all of us we were really worried he wasn't going to make it. Prays answered thank the Lord. You may find him a little gun shy for a while. Some people are fighter and some people are lovers. I boxed and trained for years as a kid and was training for the golden gloves and when I fought my first fight I won unanimously knocking the other kid down several time. After the fight everyone was cheering for me but I felt bad for the other kid and never fought again. That's me, I don't have that eye of the tiger. I'm training for a black belt in Tae Kwon do now but I hope I never have to use. Your son may be the same and right now the last thing he wants to think about is getting into a fight. But feel blessed to have him here to decide these thing here today.
That is great news my friend... we have been praying for your family and missing you as well. When he is well enough and good enough at martial arts, maybe he can teach you to be a woods ninja!

Thank god Amateur I was hoping to see you on here again with good news. Awesome to hear and hopefully the police will work hard at the investigation.

Good to hear man. He will still be in my families prayers!! And you will as well. We as fathers have a huge role and a lot riding on our actions. I understand your anger but commend you for holding it back for your sons sake!! Keep praying and give everything to God!!! He is an awesome God!!!
Wow, so happy to hear the progress your son and family have been makeing. I will pass this info along to all the Prayer Groups that were and continue praying for a full recovery. These guys were some real goons to do this and attack those two women that intervended. Those women will be added to all the Prayer Lists. God be with you and your family in these times of need.
