Well Dalton tried hard this bow season, but with school its hard to get the time needed to get it done. He did pass on some 1.5 bucks in hopes of something better. Waterfoul season is fast approaching and he absolutly loves doing that. SO, Gun season came in this weekend and he said he would shoot a 2.5 if it presented itself. I put him in my hub spot Sat evening, and was set up 20 yards from him in hopes of a show We hadnt been there 40 minutes and noticed this guy from afar in the flat where the scrapes are. Dalton tiped the can one time and he came in on a string. Dalton waited till he got 25 yards and turned broadside. He nailed him but the thing ran and bled through all the scrapes :D Im happy as hell for him Its a 2.5 with a big body but kinds hurtin for rack size for a 2.5 here. Its not his biggest but he's happy and im proud
congrats to him!!!! i don't care what anyone says, any deer you take you should be proud of!!!! I can't wait to get my oldest a deer this year... that is more important to me than fillin a tag myself...
I wish he could :D Thanks guys, I will have him read the replys I have some great footage of him doing a Gobbling battle with some long beards last spring He had them freaking out. Unfortunantly, I have slow speed and cant really download film
