My soon to be 8 year old sons birthday will be here on March 18th. I was talking it over with the wife tonight and we decided on his gift.:D

I cannot wait to see the look on his face when he opens it.

We were at the archery shop a couple months ago and I had him draw one back, I could tell by the look on his face he wanted this bow bad.

Last summer, every time I went to the archery range he came with me. It became known that he never let me go there alone, and I never did.

    Lucky kid :D

I remember my first bow, it was a BEAR Bear Cub. Man bows have come a long way since then.

Awesome. I think it'll end up being more of a blessing for you than a gift for him. I hear bringing your kids into the sport is a whole new experience. Congrats.

I took him out opening morning 2 years ago for his first time in the woods. We sat in a ground blind. Honestly I didnt expect to see anything and wouldnt you know it at 9am a big 'ol doe walked right in front of us.

That is what its all about. I still get goose bumps every time I think about it.

I think that morning really sparked his interest in the sport.
