My soon to be 8 year old sons birthday will be here on March 18th. I was talking it over with the wife tonight and we decided on his gift.:D I cannot wait to see the look on his face when he opens it. We were at the archery shop a couple months ago and I had him draw one back, I could tell by the look on his face he wanted this bow bad. Last summer, every time I went to the archery range he came with me. It became known that he never let me go there alone, and I never did.
Lucky kid :D I remember my first bow, it was a BEAR Bear Cub. Man bows have come a long way since then.
Sounds like a awesome Idea, we just got one for my little brother that turned fourteen. His face has graced this website in a couple pics if you could remember
Awesome. I think it'll end up being more of a blessing for you than a gift for him. I hear bringing your kids into the sport is a whole new experience. Congrats.
i got this one for tara last valentines day... what??? she said she wanted a diamond!!!!!!!heehee no serioulsy check the cams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went through about two or three of them because they were rubbing against the inside of the limb. everyone i have seen since is DANGEROUSLY close, but no one has ever said its been a prob. we changed the site, but the rest is good! had a bit of a problem with the quiver (just because her draw is sooooo short) but we rigged it up nice now. this bow hummms! good for that little guy!!!!
I took him out opening morning 2 years ago for his first time in the woods. We sat in a ground blind. Honestly I didnt expect to see anything and wouldnt you know it at 9am a big 'ol doe walked right in front of us. That is what its all about. I still get goose bumps every time I think about it. I think that morning really sparked his interest in the sport.
