Well today I saw a total of 11 doe's (which is an all time high for me) all throughout out the day. Not one single buck showed their face. I'm just surprised, you would think with that many does moving around this weekend at least a buck would of picked up the trail and chased. Compounded with the fact I didn't see one buck last weekend and I saw doe's makes me wonder. It's November 7th today isn't it? I'm sure most of you have heard.. but there is something going on right now that is called the RUT or something like that?
IMO bucks have their does and are getting busy, give it a few days and I bet the action picks back up. I have always notice a spurt of action for a few days, and then the woods calm down again.
I was thinking same thing this morning. I had 5 does right around me for a while this morning. I kept wondering when a buck was gonna show up, but he never did.
