Deer come from the the north west and the east. I am smack in the middle of a river bottom funnel. Seen five yesterday on my first sit of the year.

looks like a solid pitch between the Ag fields and butts up against the river, hunt it with that wind taking your scent out across the white river and should stay seeing deer there.
best of luck in your pursuit.

    Thank you sir

Had five deer around me, all does. Had a family of a doe and two yearlings come into my setup. 15 feet from the blind. The doe didn’t like the blind and she knew something was up.

any chance you can get up in a tree, that could also help carry your thermals up and out of that area, as well as getting you out of level eye sight of those pesky does.

    À

There is a stand about 250 yards away, from my blind to the southeast. I prefer a blind just cause of the wind plus the rain we've had and will get the rest of the week.

Calm next the river. No movement at all.

Four days of steady rain. Hopefully I can get in on the last day of the storm.
