November 1st-8th. lol i won't call my shot until i find out if the corn has been harvested. if not, could be a tougher call!
The foot platform is about 24 feet up, camera arm is waist level while standing up, so most likely 26-27'. It's a double hang for me and my son for filming, that's why it's that high up. The pic of the hang in the video was taken from standing on top of the wall of wood, that's why it doesn't look high in the pic. I practice regularly from this height. Here's a pic from an early spring practice session from the stand Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's all about local environment and personal taste. I never go higher than 20', and sometimes as low as 12'. But I've got a thing with heights and those heights have proven to work for me.
I'm only that high to conceal DOUBLE the movement with 2 people and a camera. ^^^THIS, exactly I was scared to death of heights too. all my hunting years I limited myself to a climber with a front rail. This past winter i practiced a few times a week doing a hang with the LW and LW sticks. Once i trusted my equipment, lineman's belt and lifeline, I became comfortable with heights. Ya it was pretty loud! that's the only time i feel a little bad, when the arrow hits, i think man that must have hurt like hell!
