I'm taking my wife out hunting this afternoon for her first time ever. At the time she can't draw enough weight to use a regular compound so she'll be using a crossbow. These two bucks having been coming into my feeder pretty regularly so I can only hope she's able to nail one of them. The 10 is for sure bigger than any buck I've got so I hope that's the one the gives her an opportunity. That would indeed be the ulimate birthday present for me... Wish us luck! The neighboring farmer took his corn off yesterday so hopefully these deer don't decide to vacate the area.

Well, we din't see any deer but she said she really enjoyed it and is ready to go some more. I was hoping that would be the response I got from her... Personally, I think it's cool to have your wife (best friend) be a hunting buddy... Leaves a lot to imagination for future deer camps...:D
