I consider myself pretty blessed to take such an animal. I have only bowhunted for 4 years but I have hunted deer my entire life. I didnt start hunting with a bow until I knew I had the time to commit to it since Im kind of obsessive and have a one track mind. I have been fortunate enough to kill 2 pope and young deer and now this guy that just about cracks B&C gross. All three deer on different properties two of which came from either knocking on a door or a friend of a friend. I'm blessed to be able to hunt great such places.
Congrats on an awesome deer. I'll be heading out to the Lancaster area next Tuesday. I hope to see a buck as big as yours. I'd like to know how it went down as well. Seeking? Chasing? According to the moon predictions that I've read next week will be the prime chasing phase. I wasn't a believer until I read it for last year and then watched it happen the way they predicted it.
