Well, I passed my 107 Certification a couple weeks back and Thursday night I got my first drone. I decided to go with the Mavic Pro due to its size & price. I figure if I use it enough I'll upgrade to whatever Inspire model is available at that time. Anyway, here's a quick video I threw together of my first flight. I love this thing!
That thing really takes some impressive quality video. I can see endless possibilities with that thing.
I do not "need" one. I do not "need" one. I do not "need" one. I do not "need" one. I do not "need" one. I do not "need" one. I do not "need" one. Sweet area and great shots.
Stock setup, though I have ND's on the way. It was a cloudy morning and I can see where the filters will be handy. I shot it at -1 sharpenss and in D-log. Colorgraded in post.
I can see some new perspectives coming up on BHOD. Blessings..........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Did you order a kit Looks awesome. I'm considering one in the future for my real estate photography, but trying to feel the agents out a bit to see if they're willing to invest in it. I can justify it if it's a "business" expense
I got the Fly More kit that comes with the extra bateries, charging station bag etc... Bought the Filter kit seperate but it was backordered. I know locally there are only two other guys so far that have their 107. One is a realtor and the other was trying to sell his service but his website and videos from his Inspire 1 were not good at all. So many cameras.... so little time.
Good stuff man! I have a Phantom 2 that I keep debating on selling or keeping and taking the 107 Certification exam. Right now it just sits in a case and I rarely use it.
I love the size. Basically the same size as a trail cam when folded up. Pretty easy to throw in a jacket or cargo pocket. And yet, you can get fantastic results from it.
Seriously....keep debating whether to add one....but some serious bones are needed to truly know I'll love the footage. Thing is amazing Fitz! Gonna be up your way in Boundary Waters around July 4th.....gorgeous up there!
