I've been looking for the "perfect" Jeep Wrangler for some time now. The ol' Honda Civic doesn't exactly fit my lifestyle but she's great on gas. It's paid for, so she's sticking around. Its a 2000 with just 101k miles, so it's got quiet a bit of life left in her.

Anyway, I fell into this deal and I can't pass it up, it's exactly what I want. I do however wish it was a 5 speed, but an automatic will do.

    1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport
    4.0 6 cylinder automatic
    35" tires
    4" lift
    78k miles

I'll have to take the fender flares off, sand them, and repaint them. The original owners had rhino lined them, and it's starting to fall off, as you can see

Sweet, Matt  Cool choice, you wont regret it! I used to stuff deer into the trunk of my Infinti :d I decided to buy a more appropriate rig for the task, as well.

Yeah, the car is paid off, so keeping it was really a no brainer. I can go from 12-15mpg to 30mpg. That will be nice.

I'm looking forward to it, its something I've wanted for a while and it will be the first vehicle I pay for.

I HATE my Jeep... Cherokee Right hand drive, I paid $4,400 and probably have another $1,000 in repairs with another $1,000 in repairs needed that Im just getting by with... But When you put 115,000 miles stopping at every mail box... somethings gonna give.:busted: :d :deer:

Sweet ride Matt, Wranglers are awesome, And that 4.0 isn't going anywhere anytime soon, TOUGH engines.

Amen! I put each of my last 2 Cherokees through torture and had both over 180k miles when I sold them. Those straight 6/4.0s are indistructable

Sweet Jeep Matt. You'll have to let me know if you're ever up this way, we can cruise the Echo and Gunflint Trails looking for Wolves and Moose!

This is the '73 CJ5 I rebuilt with my dad.
Gotta love the AMC 304 V8. 3-speed is fun too.

    Honestly, I have no clue.

I test drove it today. 4 wheel low didn't want to work right, but 4 wheel high works fine. She's going to need a new top pretty soon as well. Other than that, she'll be great.

Pretty sure he has a Dana 30 up front. Not the strongest, but for mild use, it should be fine. Get some chromo's in there if you're going to really offroad with it. Nice, Jeep, though!

    She's mine now.

We took the fender flares off and repainted them black and are in the process of putting them back on.

I'll take some more pictures Monday when I get back from the London ASA.
