I bought this machine about a month ago used on the Craig's list. It's a 2010 Kawasaki Mule 4010 Trans (617cc). It had 19 hours on it when I bought it. I'm currently storing it by my mom's condo till spring till I can get it up north on our land. We had some great weather today and I was able to go wash it and install the windshield I purchased. The machine seats 4 but then you can fold down the back seats to increase the bed size. I love the power steering and the fuel injection of this machine. It's also very quiet and smooth. Can't wait to get it up there and start hauling firewood, treestands and start working the food plots. Should be fun. Here is what it looks like with the seat folded down.
I won't lie, I'm pretty jealous. Both of your ride and your land. You're going to have a blast with it all
Words can't describe how handy and useful that machine will be on your land. You should also look for a small utility trailer. a 4x8 works good for me. You may be able to pull the mule's trailer with it. The UTV was my favorite tool until I got my tractor!
What utv do you have Greg? Tell me this. Did you put a roof on yours? Is it worth it? I'm leaning towards no right now but could seer it coming in handy. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
I have a Yamaha Rhino 450. I bought it with the roof and windshield already on it. They are very nice to have. You never know what kind of weather you will be driving in. They help to keep your things inside the cab dry (as well as the seats). Do you have a trailer for it?
Nice looking rig there Greg. Yes, the windshield was a must for me and that is why I put it on right away. I do not have a trailer yet but am actively looking to buy one. I borrowed my friends to pick it up. I'm looking for a 6'x14' utility trailer. Just waiting for the right deal on Craig's list. If I don't find it by April I will just use my friends again to get it up north.
What I meant was a small trailer (4x8) for you to pull with the Mule. We use ours a lot. Hauling wood,,logs, branches, lime, rocks etc.
No I don't have that yet either. But I did check into them and thought this might be a good one. I was going to see how bad I needed one first. One thing I am trying to avoid is buying a lot of stuff that I think I need but it turns out I really won't use it that much when I actually get going up there. Know what I mean? http://www.loyal-roth.com/Dump_Trailer.html
The bed thing.......sweet. Hadn't see that before. I'd be getting the four seater now without doubt. Nice machine, congrats.
Brad, When talking about working on your land up north, remember one thing.........think big. This isn't the city anymore. Well that utility trailer you showed would be good for working around an established yard but you would get more use out of something like this. http://assets.farmandfleet.com/product_full/604984-4_x_8_utility_trailer_with_wood_sides.jpg
OR..... you could have bought a pickup. LOL Pretty soon we'll have 5 bench seats and stretch ATVs. LOL It's really getting rediculous. So tell me, how many people do you have to haul in this thingy. LOL A boy with his toys should not try to justify.... Just play and have fun.LOL
I'm honestly not sure what your point is. But regardless I have a wife and two children so yeah it will be nice that the four of us can all go together. Also what was so funny that you laughed out loud four times? Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
