    Great dogs. I grew up with one, so when I got enough room, I got this guy. He turns 5 this October. This is Mason.

    I have 4 ready in 4 weeks LOL! German Shorthairs are awesome dogs!!!!

    I just seen a show about shed dogs and they where training Labs as well. As soon as I seen the show I told the wife I gotta have one!!! She threw a pillow at me and walked away. I dont think she wants another dog LOL!!!!

    Labs are by far my favorite hunting dog and family dog, preferably blacks and chocolates. Your pup looks great!! Good luck!!

    She loves her, up until the point where she has to get up at 5 am and take her outside. :D

    My dog never has found a shed but she did bring home someone's baseball glove one time. Brand new! :D

    Nice pup JZ. That will keep the new wifey busy while you're out hunting, and starting her young is the best.

    Justin, don't forget to blood trail tracking too. Many places use Labs and they can be awesome, just faster and pull harder than my WH Dachshund.

    Pick up this book, Tracking Dogs for Finding Wounded Deer by John Jeanenney.

    I have started looking for a puppy black or chocolate lab. Think I might end up getting one sooner then originally planned.
