Picked this girl up this morning as a weddding present for the wife-to-be. She's a surprise for when she gets home tonight. Hope she likes her! :D

I'm gonna try and teach her to pick up shed antlers. Hopefully she's better at it than I am!

Nice....good luck with her. Smarter than the average bear huh? Butter her up with a puppy heading into the season, smart move man.

I hope she's better than you are too.:d

Can't wait to see her.. my wife is jealous and is trying to seduce me into getting one.. and we will.. but we need our fence in first so she'll have to wait. Which i know she can't do.

Is that a German Shorthair Sliver.. I love those dogs. Grew up bird hunting with them. Great dogs when they don't get into trouble.. which is only half the time.:d

Justin, she is too cute! My girlfriend has been wanting a puppy for a while now and I may have to get her one for Christmas now. Have fun with her!

That's awesome Justin. We got a dog a while ago too, kind of a test run of sorts I guess.

Our house isn't really conducive to a large dog (I wanted a lab).........so I voted for a wirehair dachshund (for wounded deer tracking) but ultimately got denied and we ended up with a Boston Terrier instead. I grew up with Bostons so I didn't mind her exercising her veto powers too much.

Here is a pic of June on her way home from the breeder at 6 weeks old. :d

That's awsome JZ. Sure she will be surprised tonight! I have been toying with the idea of getting a dog myself. Think I am going to wait till after the season is over first.

Yes Duke, They are. My wife raises them, these have 15 AKC Hall of Famers in their bloodline. I get to move them outside this weekend after they get their shots, they are tearing my utility room to pieces!

Good looking pup you got there Justin. Im sure she will love it. Here is my hopefully shed finding machine. I cut the tips off the points and filed them smooth so she wont hurt herself with it. We play fetch with it all the time. She knows what the word bone means (toy :d )good luck with y[IMG]ours.

Very nice, my next dog will also be fetching antlers only. What a great way to spend a day with your little buddy and especially when there are few people in the woods at that time of the year. I love puppies.
