Well it was just too good of a deal to pass up. When you combine car payment, insurance, and gas......I'm actually saving $$$ over the Subaru I traded in. Since I'm not in a turbo "sports car" insurance was significantly lower, and since I don't need to put 93 octane in it, that helps to offset the gas mileage difference. I guess it was taken as a trade in on the current Ford employee pricing program.

It's an 06' Titan King Cab SE. It also has the 5.6L V8, 4x4, 19k miles, and it has basically every option including their towing utility package. Only thing it doesn't have is leather or a sunroof, I can live without that. I had full intentions of buying a F-150 or Silverado 1500, but this was just too good of a deal and actually less $$$ than comparably equipped Fords and Chevy's.

    That's purdy!
i did kind of the same thing. Traded in my 04' Srt-4 for my Jeep. Never looked back. Saved SO much money.
Plus the dealer "thought" he was getting me on that one.
There was some, ummm, not so right things done to that car. Last I heard, it was on its way to Canada. They called a couple days after the trade, and asked me if everything was legal on it...sure?!? Might want to tell the guy that it has no main bumper support though :d . THat was removed for the big FMIC, and check the canadian laws about the exhaust, intake, and pretty much the rest of the engine. lol:cool: .
Like I said, don't look back. It was fun while it lasted, then married life, looking into the future, things just didn't look good for the car.
I sure do like that Nissan though.

Sharp looking truck. It's almost too shiny to even see the body styling! I can't wait til I have a steady job and a good income so I can invest in a good truck.

Congrats on the new ride! Before the truck I had a Jeep Wrangler with 35" tires that I paid 15k for when a year old. Drove that for 6 years and sold it for 8K to some chump that wanted a lifted Jeep and in the end get better milage, less insurance and a ride with leather and all the goodies. Congrats on the truck, hauling hunting gear and deer will now be fun!!!

My dad has a white 06 with all the bells and whistles. I must say, its the nicest vehicle I've EVER driven. I've had Z71's, Grand Cherokee Limiteds and Durango RT's, non hold a candle to the power, ride and handling of that truck. I'm planning on buying it when he retires it in a few years. :D

Cool! I actually clicked on this forum just in hopes of finding this thread! :D

That is one SWEET truck, Matt! I've been a LONG-time Nissan fan; my Dad had a king cab Hardbody that he gave to me for a song and a dance in college after he'd put over 100,000 miles on it -- I then proceeded to put another 150,000 on it with no problems.

I had a Sentra that was going stong as well after it too had accumulated a quarter-million miles before I sold it.

I've always liked the looks of the Titans. I'd make it my next truck if I was sure it'd pull the travel trailer I'm about to buy.

Congrats on the new ride! Wish that I could get the numbers to work like that with the truck I want to get.

Thanks guys!! I really like it quite a bit, going to drive it on my lunch break here in a minute.

I'd bet it will Greg. Mine came with the Max Utility package, it has the class IV hitch and wiring, brake controller wiring under the dash, lower 3.36:1 final gearing, extending side view mirrors, and a 9500lb towing capacity. I guess it's making 379ft/lb of torque. It would probably rip your house off it's foundation if you really wanted........:d

That's one of the reasons I bought this. I'm thinking seriously about selling off my cabin (it's on skids), keeping the land, and buying a camper. I'd leave the camper there 99% of the time, but it would be nice to be able to tow it for trips elsewhere.

Sounds awesome, Matt... but then there's the other thing -- I've almost convinced myself after doing a lot of research and talking to a lot of travel-trailer owners that I'll probably go with a 3/4 ton diesel...

Beautiful truck though. I'm envious. :D

Nice truck, when mine finally dies I am going to look for a couple year old deal like that. But hopefully that's not anytime soon. Well after looking at that nice new truck, maybe I do hope mine clunks out?

Dude your truck is Awesome!! I love it!! Theres a 2007 up the road from me very similar to that one, Less features probably, crank windows, standard chrome wheels, etc.

17,000 miles @ a negotiable $16,900. Its hard to drive by every day at that price with so few miles, but theres no way I could do it right now.

Thanks buddy, the deal on that truck is very similar to what I got mine for. The original window sticker from when it was new was included in the owners manual.........and let's just say I purchased the truck for $17,000 less than the window sticker. Fords/Chevys with similar features and options were going for $4-6k more than I spent, and didn't have the towing capacity this one has.

I really went to market looking for a Ford/Chevy, but the pricing difference and additional features were simply too good of a deal to turn down.
