I mentioned in another thread the other day that I bought a new Kubota garden tractor. I've been knocked out all weekend with a stomach bug and didn't get pics posted so doing it now.

This is going to be my new "swiss army knife" around the farms, garden, food plots, etc...It's a 27HP diesel 4x4 with a 72" finish mower (not pictured) and it's a hydrostat with 3-pt and 540 pto. I have an older 60" bush hog roto-tiller on it and it handles it like it's not even there. Now I'm into zero-till but we raise some pumpkins every year and I have yet to incorporate the no-till and cover crops into the pumpkin growing but I am working on it. My parents still want their garden tilled, I've not convinced them to try a no-till garden in cover crops....yet.

Haha, it does look like a baby from that bigger tractor,
I have four actual tractors ranging from 56 to 200hp so have the big work tractor area covered pretty well. The smaller of those, 56hp and 81hp are still just a little too big to do some stuff with and a normal lawn mower with attachments isn't enough machine or just wrong application, this Kubota is a perfect fit right in between the two. It's like a Big lawn mower that thinks it's a full on farm tractor,
You can get a 60" mid mount deck that is shaft driven (mid-point pto) and a front loader for it. It's already equipped for both. The only thing I regret is not getting the loader with it and that was just because they didn't have it on hand and I figured I'd add it later since I already have loader on the other tractor. I do wish I had went ahead and ordered one though, I can see a lot of places where it would be handy to have on the smaller tractor. I think they only have a lift capacity of like 700# but it would be fun to play with.

I've had my bx2660 for 4 years. It has never let me down .

They are great at doing plots in those out of the way places.

    Great buy!

I really like it so far. I went and picked up the finish mower a while back but have yet to hook it up and try it. I have the tiller on and really don't have anything to mow anyway but it looks great sitting in the yard, lol.

The tractor is fantastic, love the hydrostat tranny. I've tilled a bunch with it already and it covers ground pretty fast.
