4ft around maybe. Wanting a small, highly portable bow is my Mongolian side coming through. It's a modern day horse bow. LOL. It's certainly a lot more handy than this yumi. BTW, the man on the right is Shibata Kanjuro XXI. Bowyer to the Emperor of Japan. He is the 21st generation of bowyer. (!!!) I had the good fortune to meet with him the last time I was in Japan.
ok just saying you go from a bow twice as tall as you, to a ultra short axle.. and in the pic every one is taller than you, thats a great pic. I would love to shoot that bow. You are very lucky to get to travel and see such culture as the people from japan, can you tell me more about your Japanese travels.
Bowtech Is this your personal opinion or have you researched all the bows they have produced to come to this conclusion?
Sweet Jesus! You could put that thing in your pocket almost!!! Looking forward to dead animal pics!!!
Finally got a reel put on the bow. Been too busy to mess with it until today. I'm hoping to shoot some fish with it this week. My Osprey next to the TNT bow. Look how much longer the arrow is than the bow.
Good stuff Christine. Does it shoot very hard (if that even makes sense)? Not worried about KE or the IBO, but you know what I mean.....cause your shooting into the water and stuff.......the youth bow I had didn't shoot very "hard".........I probably sound like an idiot....
Jim, I know what you're asking. My initial feeling was that it doesn't hit as hard as my oneida. However, I think this bow is probably set about 5lbs lighter than the oneida and I was shooting some pretty big fish last night... so until I get it on a bowscale and shoot it some more I can't really make a fair comparison. It certainly is lighter and more handy than the Oneida.
I remember seeing these mini's at the 2009 ATA and wanted to shoot one so bad but to many shooters in line. Very cool and glad to see someone on here get one keep us posted on how it works out please. T
