breaking man card laws, but, I just added an epiphone acoustic guitar to my axe family tonite... low-end and cheap but plays surprisingly well but need new strings outta the box, the oem strings were dirty and corroded, i'll be replacing them very soon... spent about 5 mins tuning it up and it has amazing tone for an el cheapo acoustic... maybe someday i'll get the big buck martin dreadnought but for now this thing will do the job quite well... eta - I'll fix the man card violation tomorrow...
Nothing wrong with Epiphone. I just sold my Washburn electric to upgrade to the Epiphone BB King ES335. Talk about sweet. Total Blues tone from heaven.
a 335 is on my shortlist of electrics.... to go along with my 2004 50th anniv 1954 strat... I won't sell the strat to get one though... edit to add - wouldn't mind a vintage gretsch hollowbody either...
here's a stock photo of it... I took a couple along side my strat and I'll post 'em up when I get a chance... not bad for a $79 acoustic git-fiddle
Nice looking guitar SevenMag. Just always remember, there are 2 things you never sell: 1. Your Strat 2. Your Les Paul Take my advice, you will be sorry later. I know. They are cool for certain music. Just too much feedback at times for my taste. That is why I got the one I did. (Closed F-holes = less feedback)
Not bad at all for $79 I bought my son a 12 string electric off of ebay for around $280 it turns out only 500 were made and worth about 2 grand according to his former guitar instructor.
