What a gut-wrenching feeling going up to the tree where I left it and it's gone. I had it in a very remote area in a lock box lag bolted to the tree with a pad lock locking the two halves of the box. It was in there for 4 years off and on without any problem. They had to have come back with tools and a bolt cutter because there was absolutely no damage to the tree. The M100 was my favorite camera. It took the best night pictures of any camera I own. Good thing I guess is they can't use it because it was password protected. I will never understand how a man can live with himself and look at himself every morning in the mirror knowing that he stole another man's camera. I just don't get it.

    Hate to say it but....
    Remove cams during
    1 shed season
    2 turkey season
    3 rifle season
    4 mushroom season
    5 arrowhead season
I lose 1-3 cams a year on 4 farms, even have people take just the sd. Çard
here is some strange things about thing that go missing sometimes they come back in a few days or weeks mostly missing the sd.card or a cleared card.
The good news is if they cleared the card you can recover pics still...Google sd.card picture retrieval this really works.
I think guys take them to make sure you don't have there pics others are just thieves.

So here is what I do first I take a gold marker and I write on the outside of the cam GPS tracking # 1376543 also mark your sd card,
Also go online or some tool stores like harbor freight has these cheap 4 inch long stick on antenna they are fake bs. But they look real
In my high traffic areas I use double sets one cam is hidden either up high 8-9 feet up pointed at the cam taking the game pics or at ground level which ever the terrain allows the best setup.
I use my Python cable instead of the factory straps and also use leaves packed behind the cable and the tree to hide it better.

Here is the real dinger you either know the person or its someone that you have met in the past...I would bet money on it.

I usually take all my cameras in during the hunting and shed hunting seasons but decided this year to take a chance. Lesson learned. Take all your cameras in during the hunting and shed hunting seasons.

Sorry for your loss! I feel your pain. I had 2 Covert Red 40s stolen and the landowner had a MP6 stolen as well. I hang them high now. Karma is a ***** and they will get what is coming to them!
