Hey guys, just wanted to share my good friend Brett Jones recent longbow 4x5 buck, this pix is from his phone to mine, not the greatest quality but hey it all I have. Brett is a great guy that really has helped me in the summers with my tradbow shooting. He and I just got off the phone and he has invited me to come on a late season doe hunt this Dec ...after my late season is over.. I am gonna go, can't wait and its Trad bow only.. he told me or I cant come! LOL Anway Brett got this buck a couple days ago 15 yards..
Brett lives near Bozeman, I will be joining him in Dec or Jan on the Galitan (sp) river, where this buck was shot.
What a great buck, regardless of the weapon. Anything done with Trad gear gets my respect instantly. I know my capabilities/limitations and it stops/starts witht the compound. Congratultions to your buddy and thanks for sharing.
Wow...look at the head on that thing! A great deer with archery period, but something exceptional with trad gear. Congrats to Brett!
