10-4. I was hoping you'd stick one that night, so I could help you track it!! We could have if you stuck one, since we got delayed with 2 flat tires on our way home from picking up that grain dryer.
Dam Steve, thats dam nice Im glad you got my head straight, I had it in my head that a milk truck looked like a schwan truck great ride man
Sucks scrubbing It!! Every day It gets a good scrubbing. It usually takes me about 45 minutes. I usually scrub It and the end of the day while unloading the last load.
Man i remember when dad still owned the farm and the milk truck would come everyother day. I grew up wanting to drive one but then the farm got sold and i joined the military. Man i still think it is awsome that you are a owner/ operator! Keep up the hard work, and damn nice truck!
Thanks guys!! Yesterday was not a good day. Just found out that the tank Is on It's last leg. In the Inside of the tank the seams are separating some. Not good!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure what I'm going to do. Brand new tank Is terribly spendy, 60,000 dollar range. Used tank this size Is no easy task In finding but much cheaper, not many around though. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
Steve, you gotta remember the old saying...... IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT, DUCK IT! I'm sure the buyers won't mind. Actually, that really sucks. Hope you can find a replacement without putting you behind the 8 ball.
How do you keep it from freezing in your hellish winter? Is there heaters on board? Figured you got alot of good contacts dealing with the milk farms. For hunting that is.
No heaters or refrigeration systems. What most people don't realize Is tanks on milk trucks have at least 16 Inches of Insulation In them. In 24 hours the temp will usually drop or raise about 1 degree. I wish you were right Mark. Most of the guys I pick up milk for slug hunt and they don't let anyone else hunt which I guess I don't blame them.
