About six weeks ago I shot an arrow into the woods after it skipped off the top of my target. I looked everywhere for the arrow but with no luck. Well today after I let my young dog outside the arrow somehow appeared by the back deck! Thats my girl!

Jeff, I bet you miss your old girl Ashley. My girl CC is a natural little trickster. She is so happy and energetic. I have to take her on some of my runs just to keep her energy levels from spilling over into chewed shoes and other household items! I bet if I knew what I was doing in terms of blood tracking that she would pick up on it fast.

You know what Raceway, I might just do that when scouting next winter. Only problem is I do not know how to train a dog to find sheds...lol

Start with a couple of sheds that you throw in the woods and give the pooch a nice venison reward for bringing them to you;)

Raceway, I am going to train her this winter to find sheds. I have some I could use to train her with later this year. She would love it big time. Her energy levels are really high and she loves to run through the woods. I like making knives out of shed antlers and if I could find more sheds I could have a blast making knives.
