    Today was a great day! My daughter won the trophy for most fish with 28 total-27 very nice Blue Gill and 1 Crappie "Her first ever"! Proud dad today!

    Now that is something to be proud of. To often, little girls are thrown into contests that are too girly (just because they are girls). Its good to see young girls in this sort of thing. Congrats.

    Very cool stuff....She won't forget it and neither will you..My daughter won a fishing tournament many years ago. I had the largemouth bass mounted for her and they mounted the walleye for her because she won for the biggest fish caught. Pictures and mounts are on the wall down stairs for all to see.

    dprsdhunter-it was a local farm pond that is big enough to hold all the kids! Ferg-how do you think she got so good. I have many trophies on the shelf so that pushes her to beat what I had as a kid. She sure is trying and getting there. She has 4 now.
