My brother shot this guy Tuesday night with a bow, from the ground, at 18 yards. He made a great shot and didn't push the deer at all. He ran 100 yards and that was it. He is shooting an old Jennings micro Extreme set at 48 lbs, Beman MFX 400 arrow with a 85 grain Thunderhead broadhead. The arrow blew right through the deer, who says you need a lot of poundage :D I'm quite proud of him! He did well Not a bad little 8pt especially for his very first deer!
