Well, after making a detachable rangefinder lanyard for my tree harness, I quickly became used to having my rangefinder close at hand. This is great if I'm up in the tree, but I wanted to have the same convenience while practicing with my bow or still hunting. So today I made an adjustable stand alone lanyard that uses the same quick clip. Here's the lanyard itself- And with the rangefinder attached- And how it works- I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. With the adjustable size, I can make it bigger to fit more layers as the season progresses.
Negative on the banana bread, but I make a mean Venison Ruben. I gotta do something while I'm waiting for guests to check-in
Looks great! My wife makes stuff from paracord and I asked for a lanyard similar to your harness one, but I'm still waiting LOL.
This paracord stuff is super easy. Order some up and jump on youtube, no need to wait for someone else to do it for you.
I took a paracord bracelet I made to school and like 5 days later BAM everyone was making them. Its fun to do when your bored. and if your in the woods and your in a bind you can use it for a bajillion things like a tourniquet, repulsion rope, snares, and even a hammock if you have enough. I have about 50-60ft of it braided in my survival pack. you cant go wrong with some of that 550
Any idea what youtube video you used or how a guy could go when making one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
