Well, the sun is setting on my second full season of Bowhunting and, all in all it was good

season, even though I couldn't hunt the last week of it. Instead of hunting I found myself at

SouthEastern Outdoors Archery (537 Old Quarry Rd Bassett, VA 24055 (1-276-638-4698)) which

by the way, is a great and capable shop, getting the limbs replaced on my '07 Bear Code. The

owner of SouthEastern Outdoors , Mr. John Huntley, has seen and done it all in his 43 years of

operation and he has a wonderful way about him that makes you feel welcome. I highly

recommend him if your'e ever in the area.

I had heard other archer's speak of backup bows but, I never put much stock in the notion that I

might someday need one. Well, I believe in being prepared and, this incident has shown me the

value of having a good bow to fall back on just in case. The good people at Bear Archery had my

free repalcement limbs delivered to SouthEastern Outdoors within 3 days of reporting my broken

limbs and, I was shooting my bow again on the fourth day.

If I had any doubts about Bear Archery's commitment to great customer service and being

committed to their product, they were quickly disspelled by their quick response to helping me

get my bow repaired and, for that I am forever grateful.

This whole experience has taught me 3 things. First, I have a great company behind my bow.

Secondly, support the local archery shop, the men and women who work in them have a vast

wealth of knowledge and expertise that you can't find in the big retail chains. Lastly, have a

backup bow. You never know when your'e best bow will become unshootable. I'll be getting mine

from Bear Archery and I just might let Mr. Huntley set it up for me.

That's great that Bear and your local shop took care of you so well! And a valuable lesson learned.
