I had a very tough year but on the last day I was able to get a recurve kill last year in Louisiana one of the toughest places by far to kill a deer!

Nice one! I can't imagine the challenge of taking a deer with a recurve...

Thanks y'all! I've been hunting with a recurve now for over 10 years and LOVE IT! something different seeing my arrow flying at a whopping 157 fps towards and animal!!! LoL guess I'm one of those speed demon guys lol

Haha, when I first got was thinking about getting into bowhunting, I was thinking of a recurve. After learning about how difficult it is, I opted for a compound bow to learn some skills first. Hope that I will "graduate" to the lower speeds and even less range that a recurve offers. Congrats and hope you get an opening day deer this year!

Thank you! I've taken a few animals with my recurve and all I can say about it is shooting one with a compound bow now feels the same as if I was shooting one with a rifle... I'm hooked! Nothing like it!
