It took a while for me to finally get enough time to really tune my Allegiance after putting a new set of Vaportrail strings on it but I believe she's finally ready. Cams are in perfect synch, peep is set, nock point is set and she's driving tacks out to 50 yards.

Beautiful set of strings and cables in red and grey with clear servings from Vaportrail. Thanks Dan (MeanV) for hooking me up.

Still a little room for tweaking, but she's ready. Is it October yet?

You sound about like me buddy... I don't think I've been so impatient for a bowhunting season to get here than for this year's...

I know what you mean about being impatient guys.

We had a slew of shooter bucks make through bow and gun seasons on our property last season so I'm anticipating some real wall hangers around this year.

Plus, my first trip to Illinois is calling too. This will be the first year I'll miss a week of rut hunting here in PA while being out there. I'm kinda torn actually because I know what will be here this season, but I can't wait to hunt the land of the giants for the first time.

She's looking sweet. Man, I miss my Allegiance.

Good luck on some of those bucks that made it through last year and definitely good luck in IL. I'll be looking for some trail cam pics of those bucks soon. ;)
