Yes! How old is she and what bow are you having her shoot? I have a son who will be six this summer and can't wait until he is old enough to pull a bow back.
Hunter Bob....she is 10, and shooting a Barnett Vortex. While not super high-end, this little bow seems to be about perfect to learn on. Also, I think I found it on Amazon for just a touch over $100 . It came with cheap components, so I dug through my archery box and found a few upgrades. On a side note, she graduated to this bow from a Barnett Tomcat.......she started with that bow at 7.
Here she goes again......starting having trouble with shots hitting left, turned out she was white-knuckin' the grip and torquing the whole bow (I noticed the cam was out of whack while looking over her shoulder). Got that grip straightened out and she was hitting all around the dot.
Awesome, my son turns 6 this summer. Maybe I can splurge for a bow next year! Keep training her and keep us posted on the progress.
I have it cranked down as low as I dare too. the limbs are a little loose but hasn't been a problem. I think the next time he shoots i'll start cranking it back up without him knowing it.
