Was wondering if i am over baiting my hunting area?
    - im going to be setting up in a woodsey area with about 4 or so intersecting deer trails i have two trail cams setup and have put out a bag of apples, a salt lick (a rock one and a deer cane one) and some corn about a coffee cans worth spread out in the clearing about 20 feet off the trails
-the salt licks are about 100 meters apart with the apples and corn spread between them

What are you asking? Yeah, you are baiting. Is it legal in Mass? What is your opening day date?

its only illegal to bait on public land during season i was wondering if using corn with apples and salt licks would be too much for a small area thats already near some corn fields...i was just wanting some feedback

Apples are always a good attractant. I use them for trail cam shots here in PA.

i don't think it's a big deal this time of year, your feeding not baiting so don't overthink it. i put out very little this time of year, because it gets expensive... and i'm watching trails i know have deer on them from past years.
if in a new area i wasn't fammiliar with i may try a lot of high scent bait to see what's in the area.
this time of year bait is limited in what it will do for you.

i just put the apples out there about three weeks ago and havent check the cameras yet i will be tomorrow though... as far as the corn and deer cane the squirels have been demolishing it with the turkeys im hoping the heat is the reason why i havent seen much deer movement lately
