This is the area I'll be hunting. show me where you would set a stand. If this doesn't come up I'll make another approach.

Here it is without having to click a link. A is a stand at my foodplot. B is a boxblind 60yds from a feeder. There is also a ladder stand at the feeder. C is a hang on overlooking a primary scrape area. ( 6 scrapes in 20 yd area). D is a future stand site in a draw from the creek to the ridge with a good trail. E is another trail along the creek and a future stand site. What say you? D is behind the spot that says ACME.

Well Greg, just going on the info you gave, I'd look for the perfect tree somewhere in the middle of C, D & E. Have you walked around in there much?

Where's the property line in the NE? What's planted in that field?

there is a heavily traveled trail from C that goes in there to a thick bedding area. I don't want to go in there and disturb too much. BTW, Waid I figure ya'll can sit that box blind if you'd like on youth weekend. It is visited regularly by a group of does.

The property line is just past the powerline right of way. That area is hunted by another member.

I guess I'd hunt any one of the spots you have marked, depending on the wind direction.
The box sounds good for me & Hunter if I get to bring him back up there. Thanks!

Well you two are more than welcome at any time. If you want to come up during bow season on your own thats OK too. Or plan on youth weekend and maybe he'll get one on the ground early and then you can bow hunt the rest of the weekend. I'll keep Hunter busy fishing in the tank while you hunt.

Any trails going from A to B? Might be good afternoon spots.

But it sounds like you have a few good ones picked out already.

Yes there is a nice trail between the two. And I have been considering a hang on in there. I just have to decide on the tree. There are several to chose from.
