My hunt from last night...

Not as great as Buckeye or Rybo's,

But my best hunt of the year so far. My mock scrape setup stand worked perfectly, but the buck wasn't quite what im looking for. I cant wait to sit here over the next few weeks.

Excellent video you put together. I agree, I think that stand is going to produce something special this year. Sounds like it has all of the ingredients for a good buck area.

 

I think in the video he said 20-25 yards.

From what i saw of him this summer, i thought he was a 1.5. My reaction when i saw him in the woods was 2.5. Then when i put it together i got stuck...but stuck with my original though.

However old he was, it was a great hunt, and experience.

 

Caleb, I also feel he's a 2.5 year old. And fantastic job with the camera.

 

Very nice buck, and great footage. Sounds as if you have a good spot. Only a matter of time now.
