Here is what I cobbled up at work a few weeks ago. Cost me $2 for a scrap slip including painting it:p.

It has the 1/4-20 thread bolt welded on top and I have two M5 bolts welded underneath it if I choose to use my Moultrie M-80. I can have 3 cameras mounted different ways If I choose. I can also adjust it up and down.

I seen a Stic N' Pic booth at a local hunting show this weekend and REALLY regret not buying one. On the drive home I just thought of how neat the stick n pic was and how adjustable it was compared to my hodge podge contraption.
The options are endless using a set up like this. Before I would have to hope to have a tree or fence post, here you can get creative.

This spot I been seeing 12 hens near it. Now got to get a Tom strutting by the water puddle to show off the Covert Black60 day time pictures :) Ground is still frozen but I got this pushed down a few inches.

I use something like that I made for a few of my cams I use here in my yard. I worry on field sets too many people walking around in the woods here right at turkey season and shed hunters crossing fences.

^ ya having it like this isnt concealed to to speak. But at 100 yards away not even I wouldnt see it if I didnt know it was there. Ideally I wanted along the field edge/brush line, but frozen ground prevented that!. I didnt want to just have it in the ground a little, knowing my luck it would have tipped over when I checked it next.

Thanks for the replies. Just want to point out weather you got skills to make your own, or a get a Stic n Pic, these style of camera mount set ups let you get a camera in places you would never have had a chance before. The set up possibilities are endless.

Thanks to Pat and others on here that have sparked my interest to be more creative with my trail cameras. I used to leave my cameras on the same trees all summer/fall. Now a few of them I am going to move around and get some different wildlife on camera hopefully.

That looks great. I saw the Stic N Pic at the show today and now that I am home I am also regretting not picking one up today. Actually had it on my list to get and forgot.

First time seeing cranes this year. Seen them in other fields in the area.

They wanted to come check out what the "thing with legs" was. :bash:

    forgot about this post! haha.

I picked up a Stic N Pic and been using them more. I forgot about making homemade stands. Ya they work, but the stic n pic are lighter and more adjustments.
