This goes to support my statement. The religion is professed by the people who voted for the blue laws. For many years the were many people who believed sunday was God's day.And you are also correct as the people leave the religion their laws are voted out. So yes we believe the same thing. The majority rules. I wish the best for our grand children.

Not making sport of anyone here but the federal Govt can not shut down hunting in this country, it is not possible. States rights. It is possible that a state could ban hunting I suspect it could happen on the east coast or west coast where most of the fools congregate but in the middle part of the country hunting will NEVER be banned.

Each state votes of the different regulations. That is simply why some states still have the blue laws and some don't. Please don't think that the voters can't get their way. I can remember when you could not hunt in Ohio on Sunday. The voters changed the law. If they can vote it in, don't be naive, they can vote it out.

It would take a constitutional amendment in Minnesota, my right to hunt and fish is in the states constitution. Other than the Twin Cities Minnesota is common sense conservative no way in hell they would EVER vote against hunting.

Sota: I will agree that in certain states people are more liberal than others. I doubt you will see anything in Kentucky for a while either. That being said voters get things done , good or bad. And if we pizz off enough voters they just might vote it out.
Why not just keep hunting to ourselves.
Every hunter safety class teaches safety and how to preserve our sport. The theme of preserving the sport is keeping it to
    our self.

I agree with you on that, with phone in registration it allows me to keep my kills covert. I just tell everyone that there are no deer at my place.

That my friend was the main reason behind the phone in registration. Too many non hunters were complaining at the grocery store check in stations. It was costing the stores money and causing too many problems.

This has to be in the city or the suburbs, out in the country the complainers are the ones who would be shamed.

That too is true. One would be amazed at some of the deer numbers and size of the city deer.
But now we are getting back to our point. The city people aren't used to seeing blood and guts like those in the country. There are way more people living in the city to pizz off. One can pizz off more people in the city at a stop light, than they will even see driving a country mile. The country boys aren't the ones causing the problems near as much as city and rural hunters.
